I Reject God, Religion and the Bible

Hello, Atheist. What are you doing here anyway?

Since you are here, just for kicks, let me show you what you will miss and what you won't miss.

What You Will Miss

The Rapture

The Bible talks about what is called the rapture when Jesus will return in the clouds and all the Christians living at that time will meet him in the air and will go back to heaven with him.  We are definitely in the end times and the rapture could very well happen in your lifetime and in the near future.  The world has been going down hill faster and faster with morality decaying and the world in a mess economically and many other ways.  The Bible talks about pestilences (diseases) increasing along with earthquakes and other signs that the end is near and all you have to do is look at news to see it all. The corona virus is just the start.

The rapture is going to be quite an event.  Imagine all of a sudden finding yourself rising in the air heading for the clouds and looking around to see people as far as you can see rising with you and yet leaving way more behind on the earth.  That is going to be an exhilarating experience beyond description.  Not only that but you would be getting a new body.  Then you would see Jesus in all his glory and you would continue on to heaven which would be even more spectacular.

Too bad you will miss it.

A Celestial Body

A person gets their new body if they go up alive in the rapture, or if they die first, they will get it in heaven.  That body will be young for the rest of eternity, full of energy and vitality, without any aches or pains or imperfections.  You will have 100% use of your brain rather than the fraction they say we have now.  Savants have an extremely high function of a specific area of their brain such as memory, analysis, or music but have less capacity in other areas.  You will have that same kind of function or more but not limited to a certain area, you will have that capacity of your entire brain.

You won't just have that in heaven.  Heaven is a temporary place until Christ returns to earth when we will return with him.  He will set up his kingdom on earth for 1000 years and after that there will be a new heaven and a new earth.  Imagine having that body and that brain forever, for millions of years and then more.  What could you accomplish.  What could you enjoy.  With that new body and brain, life will be incredibly more enjoyable and rich and fulfilled.

Heaven, the Millennium, the New Earth

You will miss all those. And just because you refuse to believe.  Just because YOU don't believe doesn't make the truth less true. Somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of the world's population will die during the tribulation period which is God's judgement.  If the tribulation comes soon which it very well could and you are alive at that time, if by some miracle you make it through it, you will enter into the Milleneum with your old body and will not live to see much of it and when you die, you will still go to hell.

The Christian Life

You only see the Christian as believing in a fantasy and with all these restrictions of what they can do and all the requirements of what they have to do.  Christianity is not like that at all!  Those things the Bible tells us not to do are sins that have a negative result anyway. Practicing sins does not bring happiness in spite of the initial appeal. Sins ultimately bring unhappiness and the other consequences.  Drinking freely can result in cirrhosis of the liver, smoking to lung cancer, free sex to sexually transmitted diseases, bad language alienates you to others.  Some Christians indulge in different sins as well but they also experience the same negative impacts here on earth.  The difference is that they are not judged for them when they leave this world.  All their sins are forgiven.  The Christian life does not eliminate hardships and sorrows here on earth but as Christians, we enjoy a relationship with Christ and other Christians.  We don't fear death like an unsaved person because we know we have a home in heaven waiting for us and new perfect bodies. We have the comforter, the Holy Spirit, who comforts us in times of trouble. We have the Holy Spirit that helps us in many ways like in understanding the Bible and with promptings for us to do things that will help us and not do things that would hinder us. There are satisfactions in being a Christian that can't even be explained.

Help in Defeating Satan

Satan probably bothers Christians more than unsaved people. WHAT?!! Satan knows he has lost a Christian in the end but he wants to influence the Christian to sin and despair to make their Christian walk unproductive. We have Jesus and the Holy Spirit and can call on them to defeat Satan in his attempts and to make him leave us alone (1 John 4:4).

What You Won't Miss

Hell

If you don't accept Christ as your savior at some point in your life, Hell is your destination.  People laugh and say it will be fine because all their friends will be there. But your friends will be in the same anguish, pain, and misery that you will be in.  We humans cannot comprehend eternity but you will be there in that condition for eternity.  You will be in flames with the pain of burning and yet your body will not die.  It will be dark, there is nothing to do but exist. This time on earth will have seemed like a blink of the eye when you are there. Maybe the worst part is the regret and the realization that the sins and the obstinence in not acepting Christ and just doing whatever you wanted on earth was not worth it.

The Tribulation

The tribulation is 7 years of God's wrath poured out on earth. Even though hell is worse, the tribulation will be unbelievably horrible.  The Christians will have been removed from the earth in the rapture so they won't experience it. It is unlikely that if you are alive during this time that you would survive it and when you die, you will be sent to hell and that is the end of it. Actually, you will have one more event to look forward to. At the end of the 1000 years millennium, you will finally have your day in court.  You will stand before God. First He will open the book of life and look for your name.  It won't be there and so he opens the books of your life with all your sins and you will hear them all read off.  That will be agonizing enough. Then he will pronounce judgement and you will have a new home, the lake of fire. Just what the difference is between hell and the lake of fire is not clear but hell may consist of solid ground where you could walk around in the fire and misery and could talk and see as seen in the story (real, not a parable) of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The lake of fire is likely just that, maybe like lava, or could be something different but it is on fire and will probably be even worse than hell.  That is where you will spend the rest of eternity.

Life on Earth as a Lost Person

You think that is better than being a Christian but it isn't.  You have no hope for anything better after this life.  You HOPE that when you die you will just no longer exist.  Sorry, that isn't the case. You only depend on yourself with no spiritual help. There is a certain feeling of something missing that you keep trying to find but nothing fills that gap and nothing is satisfying for long. You might try to tell yourself that "ignorance is bliss" but ignorance is just ignorance and is frustrating.

You aren't ignorant, either.  You know God exists but you have just hardened your heart and tried your best to convince yourself he doesn't.  But God says he put the knowledge of himself in every person and his existence can be seen in his creation all around us.

Romans 1:18-22 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

So, the Bible says in spite of your denial, you know he exists. You are vain in your imagination that God doesn't exist.  You just don't want to think you are accountable to a higher power and that you are your own boss and accountable to no one and can live however you want to without consequence. That indeed is foolish.

Influence of Satan

Satan knows he already owns you and that you will be with him in hell and the lake of fire but he will continuously influence you to keep you from being influenced by people for Christ. He will be making sure you scoff and don't listen to anything spiritual. Actually, when we talk about Satan, he is probably busy with bigger issues like world leaders but he has millions of fallen angels which are demons or devils to do his bidding and keep working to keep lost people lost and trying to get Christians discouraged and in sin.  Oh yea, Christians sin, too.  But theirs is forgiven, yours isn't.  You have no ability to ward of the attacks of the demons and don't even realize they are influencing you and have no one to call on to do battle with them. You actually embrace their influence and go further "down the tube" as time goes on. It gets harder and harder to accept Christ as your savior as time goes on.

There May Still Be Time For You!

If you have gotten this far and read this, you may not be lost for good.  You can still accept Christ right now.  Just go back to "The Ultimate Truth" web page, go through that again, and accept Christ. But the time may be short.  If you wait too long and miss the rapture, all bets are off.
