Foundational Truths
Here are the foundational truths the most important truth in the universe is based on:

There needs to be a basic trusted authority to base truth on. The Bible is that authority.
- Every human is an eternal being
- Since we are eternal, then we will continue to exist after death
- God is real
- Heaven is real

Hell is real

Everyone will spend eternity somewhere
- Where you spend eternity depends on the one ultimate truth
The Critical Question
If you died today, do you know for sure you would go to heaven?
If you died today and an angel met you at the entrance of heaven and asked you why he should let you into heaven, what would your answer be?
Many people would answer that they had been a good person, or they had done their best to follow the 10 commandments, or that they had NOT done anything like robbed anyone or killed anyone. They expect that their good qualities outweigh their bad as if their good was on one side of a balance and their good was on the other and as long as the good outweighed their bad, that would get them into heaven. Some might go further and talk about going to church regularly, tithing, working with benevolent organizations, helping people, and so on.
